Better Beauty

Aside from fitness, clean living is a passion of mine. We are exposed to a large amount of toxic substances and I have made it my mission to keep my household as clean as possible for the health of my family. I make most of my cleaners and purchase brands that I have researched to be safe. I was relieved to have found Beautycounter for my skin care and makeup needs. I feel confident in their research and clean products and am proud to be a part of a movement toward making the cosmetics industry more regulated. Beautycounter has banned more than 1,500 questionable ingredients. Guess how many potentially harmful ingredients the United States has banned? THIRTY. The last law passed regulating the cosmetics industry was passed in 1938. Since then, we have introduced many new substances, most of which have not even been tested for safety.

I encourage you to download the ThinkDirty app or EWG app and take a look at the products you are using. The skin is the largest organ on your body and absorbs what is put on it. Let's lather ourselves in good stuff, not bad!
